Some ideas of visit of the South of the Burgundy
Around the gites :
- Many walks : GR7 path and strolls in the surrounding hills, castle of Montaigu, roman chapels,
- Bicycle rides on our little (sometimes steep) roads of the Vallée des Vaux, or practice mountain bikes (we supply maps of 15 / 25 km circuits ),
- Visits of the cellars of the wine growers of the village ...,
- ... and follow the famous Wine Trail of Burgundy,
- Tennis grounds in Mercurey at 1 km,
- Game of bowls (pétanque) down the village.
A short distance away (less than 10km) :
- La Voie Verte : 80 km of a former railway reconverted in a cycle track, departure from Givry (6km),
- Roman chapels circuit and traditional villages of the Vallée des Vaux (Touches, Mercurey, Barizey, Chatel-Moron ...),
- Mont Avril walking (panoramic view),
- Climbing cliffs at 2km around St Denis de Vaux,
- Germolles castle : the only country estate of the Dukes of Burgundy, XIVth century (2km),
- Acroparc : adventure in the trees for all ages, near Givry (7km),
- and, of course, follow the Wine Trail of Burgundy (Mercurey, Givry, Rully ...).

- Chalon sur Saône : historical pedetrian center around the St Vincent cathedral, the Niepce museum of international reputation (photos exhibitions permanent and temporary), Denon museum (museums are free in Chalon), strolls at St Nicolas rose garden,

- In spring and summer, cruises on the river Saône or on the canal du Centre between Saône and Loire rivers,
- Leisure boats at 10km in St Léger-sur-Dheune on the canal du Centre,
- Parc Touristique des Combes in Le Creusot,
- Mont Rome with panoramic view to the wild Morvan region,
- Golf in Chalon (18) open to non-members.
